Newly released bodycam footage shows the moment San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution last weekend.

York, 46, was wearing a New York Yankees T-shirt, basketball shorts and his wedding ring when police pulled him over near a mobile home park in East Palestine, Ohio, on Sunday, August 23, according to video first shared by the California Post.

York filed for divorce from his wife, Danielle Belluomini, in May. The couple share two sons, ages 13 and 10.

At the time of his arrest, York was allegedly on his way to see what he believed to be a prostitute he had met online. Instead, he was caught in a sting operation, with police pulling him over on his way to the meeting.

“Can I ask what you’re doing?” one of the officers asked him in the video.

York responded that he was “just driving” and, when asked, said he was not on his way to meet anyone.

Police then handcuffed the NFL executive, with video showing the officers seizing $160 in cash and two phones from his car.

“He’s got a s***-ton of cash,” one of the officers is heard saying to the other.

“It’s crazy the people that do this,” the other officer replied. “They could do whatever they want. They could do other things. They could go other ways. It’s wild.”

After police found York’s two phones, they texted one of them using a separate device that allegedly had been used in the sting. One of York’s phones lit up with a notification that featured the words “the nude girl.”

York later pleaded no contest to misdemeanor disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools. He was released on bond Sunday afternoon, and an Ohio judge ordered him to spend one day in jail for each charge. He was also ordered to pay $1,150 in fines.

The 49ers have stayed largely quiet on the matter, releasing a statement that merely said, “As this is a legal matter, which has been resolved, we will not be providing any further comment at this time.”

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan broke his silence on the arrest during a meeting with reporters on Tuesday, August 25.

“I got a lot of respect for Jed,” he said. “I got a lot of respect for Danielle. Their family does mean a lot to me. With it being this personal, I’m trying my very best to keep it that way.”

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed to the Associated Press on Wednesday, August 26, that the league is reviewing the incident to see whether York violated the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

“We’ll do that, and when there’s something to be reported, we’ll talk,” said Goodell, 67.

The NFL held owners meetings in Atlanta on Wednesday, which York did not attend, according to Front Office Sports.
