Travis Kelce gushed over his wedding to Taylor Swift for the first time since the power couple officially tied the knot.

“It was a fun offseason, man,” Kelce, 36, told reporters at Kansas City Chiefs training camp on Wednesday, August 12. “Wedding was the best night of my life. I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us. That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.”

Kelce and Swift, 36, got married at Madison Square Garden on July 3.

“MSG, man, I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the [New York] Knicks were rocking, and my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp,” Kelce said. “I didn’t get the opportunity to go then, so it’s kind of cool to get to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there.”

Swift attended Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals between the Knicks and San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden on June 10 with friends Mariska Hargitay and the Haim sisters. Just weeks later, the pop star and Kelce said “I do” inside the famed venue.

“I can’t thank the owners of MSG [enough] for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event and everything,” Kelce added on Wednesday. “The A/C was cooking, baby. That was the best part.”

As Us previously reported, Kelce and Swift, 36, exchanged vows inside MSG on July 3. after nearly three years of dating. The ceremony came nearly one year after the pair got engaged in August 2025.

In the months leading up to the wedding, Travis and Swift remained relatively tight-lipped about their plans, though they offered rare glimpses into the process from time to time.

“You would think that I had been the type of person who would have obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life, but I actually never thought about what I would ever do or what I would want until I met the person,” Swift shared during an October 2025 appearance on the U.K.’s Heart radio station.

That same month, Swift hinted at the size of her wedding to Travis while visiting The Graham Norton Show.

“I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount [of room] and people are on the bubble and you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not gonna do that,” she revealed before joking, “I shouldn’t have said any of that.”

Earlier this year, Travis expressed his excitement about the upcoming ceremony when Rory McIlroy appeared on a May episode of “New Heights.”

“It’s an incredible night to be sitting in that room,” McIlroy, 37, said of his Masters Champions Dinner. “It’s a bit like — and Travis, you’ll feel this this year whenever you’re sitting at your wedding — you have all the people in a room … it’s amazing to have all these people in the same room. You’re just sitting there and it’s surreal. It’s unbelievable.”

The golfer continued, “The only thing I can compare it to is your wedding day because it’s this collection of people in the same room. It’s wild.”

Travis replied, “I can’t wait.”

While specifics remained under wraps until the big day, a source exclusively told Us Weekly in April that the bride and groom were “both involved and making decisions together,” adding that they were “focused on actually enjoying the process rather than getting caught up in the pressure.”

The insider added, “Taylor thinks it’s cute that Travis cares about a lot of the details.”
