It’s safe to say Amy Schumer has changed a lot since appearing on Last Comic Standing in 2007. She has earned a huge fan base with her three successful seasons of Inside Amy Schumer, become best friends with Jennifer Lawrence and released the Golden Globe–nominated movie Trainwreck. But the differences aren’t limited to her résumé and vacation buddies.
Schumer circa 2007 rocked tees and denim flares, hardly any makeup and wore her hair in its naturally curly texture, whereas the Schumer of today, 34, sports figure-flattering mini dresses, straightens her blonder locks and, of course, has a top-notch glam squad.
And she’s quick to thank the people who have brought her to where she is now. In fact, celebrity makeup artist Andrea Tiller even got a shout-out during Schumer’s speech at the 2015 Emmy Awards. “Thanks to the girl who gave me this kind of smoky eye … I love it,” Schumer said.
Though she may have a makeup artist on speed dial, the comedian jokes she’s still “Just Like Us!” In a funny video posted on Instagram in September, Schumer pumps her car, which was running completely on empty, full of gas.
“Thanks ma,” she captioned the clip, in which she wears a red and white shift dress, sunglasses and a black Starbucks baseball cap as she maneuvers around a gas pump. She tagged the video, “#theyrejustlikeus.”
