Further confirmation that it’s all about the jean shorts right now: earlier this month, the sisters’ fellow model-of-the-moment Hailey Baldwin dressed her cutoffs up and down on two different occasions with rumored beau Justin Bieber, and now it looks like the Hadid sisters are giving the leg-baring trend a try as well.
While Gigi and Bella are obviously sartorially in sync when it comes to the warm-weather essential (they were, after all, both wearing a pair by Re/Done), the ladies fashioned their shorts totally differently. An ideal way to beat the summer heat, Gigi’s look was cutely casual — the summer take on classic model-off-duty style. She topped off her pocket-baring cutoffs with a simple white tee that she turned into a muscle tank by pushing up the sleeves.

Bella, meanwhile, seemed to be channeling a slightly more “done” look thanks to some key add-ons. Rocking a Fendi logo polo shirt, the model put a hint of her toned tummy on display, but her outfit was really all about the accessories. She cinched her Re/Done shorts with a chain-link belt for instant polish, while her Naked Wolfe combat boots were reminiscent of the Baldwin’s footwear of choice last week. A bouncy, center-parted lob, super slender shades and a black Alyx backpack elevated the ensemble’s girl-on-the-go feel.
