Bella and Gigi Hadid are so close, they can read each other’s fashionable thoughts. Case in point: the supermodels are currently separated by an ocean, but both were spotted in shorts suits on Wednesday, June 20.
Younger sister Bella was first spotted in Paris, enjoying the sunny pre-summer weather by taking a trip to the a Louis Vuitton store while wearing a geometric black blazer with matching high-waisted short-shorts.
But, to keep the outfit from looking a little too fancy, Bella upped the cool-factor by tucking in a graphic tee. Also elevating the look: a red comic-book graphic Prada cross-body bag, a pair of oversized hoops and smaller chunky hoops and the Hadid family signature: small oval-frame sunnies with blue tinted lenses and chunky-soled sneakers with scrunched socks.
Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the Atlantic, big sis Gigi was spotted leaving her apartment to attend The Art of the Mix event hosted by Antoni from Queer Eye wearing a drape-y version of a blazer and short suit. Her gray two piece was from the Sydney-based women’s wear brand Pfeiffer and the style star added a pair of chunky-soled Ash sneakers (that she wore earlier this week) and scrunched up white socks, echoing her baby sister’s style decision. The final touches: Alexander Vauthier x Alan Mikli shield-frame sunnies and BaubleBar drop earrings.
Two sisters, two equally chic ways to wear short suits. It’s only a matter of time before we all adopt the smart, yet still cool look for ourselves. A Summer suiting option, found.
