Bare-faced and beautiful! Cameron Diaz went without makeup and shared one of her life's "proudest moments" via Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 11. See more stars without makeup.

The Counselor star presented a makeup-free, happy front in the picture, as she touted a copy of her The Body Book, which was written by Diaz herself. "One of my proudest moments!" the fresh-faced star shared on the social media site. "Receiving the first bound copy of The Body Book!!"

The actress, 41, who left her mid-length blonde locks down in loose waves and smiled through her brilliant blue eyes, hugged the copy close to her chest. Diaz, who calls NYC's West Village nabe home, added, "LADIES!! I wrote this book for YOU and YOUR BODY.. And I'm so excited to share it with you!!"

She was greeted by congratulatory tweets from fans and stars, including fellow blonde bombshell Kate Upton, who said, "can't wait to read it!!" Diaz responded, "Thanks Friend!! I want your BODY… To read my BOOK!!"

Known for her lean body, Diaz told Us Weekly in March 2011 that she tries to keep healthy by eating consistently and carefully. "I try to eat really clean," she told Us. "I eat a lot of protein, whether it's fish, chicken, or beef, or egg whites, and then brown rice or quinoa, and oatmeal and a whole grain like that, and lots of greens."
