She's ready to shine! Best Actress Oscar nominee Cate Blanchett looked gorgeous at the 2014 Oscars on Sunday, March 2 wearing a soft gold-color gown by Armani Prive.
"It's heavy but I love it," Blanchett told Ryan Seacrest of her romantic cap-sleeve dress featuring a long, flared tulle skirt with crinoline edging. The material included sequins and a flared tulle skirt that offset light gold Swarovski crystals.
Blanchett has dominated the 2014 awards season, receiving Best Actress wins at the Screen Actors Guild Awards back in January and the BAFTAs in February. The Blue Jasmine star has been lauded for her work as the dysfunctional, martini-swigging Manhattan socialite divorcee who moves to San Francisco in an attempt to rebuild her life.
The star will wear a different Armani Prive gown to the after parties: a sleeveless nude dress featuring lace and tulle inserts that create a diaphanous effect.
