Addicted to ink! Demi Lovato added another tattoo to her collection in a Monday, September 5, Snapchat story.
The “Body Say” singer, 24, posted about her procedure as she sat on a bench in the studio of celeb-loved artist Bang Bang. She started the saga with a selfie along with a few bleeding needle emojis. To subdue the pain, she played with a few filters, including the popular dog and fox faces. Her Yorkipoo, Batman, also made an adorable appearance, stealing some shine from his mommy.
Even though she finished her Snapchat story with a shot of an older tat — a dream catcher with the message “You make me beautiful” over it — fans could still see the finished result in an Instagram story. Lovato posted a short video of Bang Bang setting up, along with his tools and bottles of ink. She then skipped to the completed tattoo: a series of roses on her inner left arm underneath the word “Stay.” (It’s a piece of a two-part message, as her right arm reads “strong.”)
Lovato continued to express her love of ink on her other social channels. She took to Twitter that same day, posing a question that racked up over 15,000 retweets. “Why is the feeling of getting tattooed so addicting?!” she wrote.
The “Confident” singer, who’s dating UFC fighter Luke Rockhold, already has nearly 30 tattoos on her body, including a smiley face on her pinky and a flock of 12 birds that represent the 12 steps she completed while doing a sober living program.
