Coming up roses, violets, daisies and more! Sarah Hyland stunned in a black pants underneath her floral embroidered frock with an exaggerated train at the 2016 Emmy Awards at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on Sunday, September 18. See what she looked like in the clip above!
The Modern Family actress, 25, stepped out in a cream faille Monique Lhuillier embroidered peplum bodice sprinkled with an assortment of embroidered blooms on the bodice and throughout the dramatic train. The top, which stopped at her hip at the front and trailed the ground at the back, was paired with black matte crepe ankle-length cigarette pants and metallic silver Jimmy Choo Molly sandals. She topped the ensemble with jewels by Lorraine Schwartz, and couldn’t help but brag about them on the red carpet.
“I mean, come on, what is this?!” she told E!’s Giuliana Rancic. “The earrings are amazing!” Those prized baubles were extremely visible with Hyland’s ‘do, a low loose chignon with a few face-framing locks left out around her face.
Hyland also took a moment to give Brad Goreski, her stylist, praise as he helped her make the right choice. “Oh, this was the only option,” she revealed. “This was it.”
The carpet wasn’t all serious business, though. While taking a selfie with Rancic, she also shared her tips for the ideal selfie. “If you make an ugly face on purpose, you can never be like, ‘Oh, no, I look ugly,’” she joked before making a silly expression. “I tried to do that!”
Hyland’s look put a spring in our step, but we have to ask — do you love it our hate it? Vote in the poll below and let Us know!
