Gossip Girl is getting decked out in Vera Wang!
For her own nuptials to Prince Louis of Monacco (Hugo Becker), Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), who is slated to don a whimsical Vera Wang bridal gown, appears to be taking a cue from another royal wedding.
Channeling the moment when Kate Middleton's maid of honor, her sister Pippa, stepped out in an ivory column dress, Blair's four bridesmaids will don an off-white color down the aisle too.
Blair's BFF and maid of honor, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively), will be decked out in Vera Wang's "Farrah" gown, a long organza and metallic tulle gown with a corset bodice and blossom flange skirt, straight from the designer's spring 2011 wedding collection.
Meanwhile, Blair's three minions will each be dressed in a short, one-shoulder organza dress with a bias-cut flange skirt accented with a waist-slimming elastic belt from Wang's more affordable line for David's Bridal, White by Vera Wang. (The dress is available for $198.)
Taking another page out of Prince William and Duchess Kate's April 29, 2011 nuptials? Each girl in her party will wear a matching fascinator.
But will all these lovely fashions and effort be in vain?
