What is going on today?! Brangelina splitting isn’t the only thing that’s rocked our world. Over at London Fashion Week, Christopher Kane outfitted models in bejeweled Croc shoes for his Monday, September 19, show.

The London-based designer, loved by Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé, set the sartorial world ablaze with his unlikely footwear. “For Spring Summer 17 Christopher Kane introduces crocs adorned with precious mineral stones,” the brand explained in a September 20 Instagram post. And Crocs, which introduced its foam boating clogs to the world in 2002, confirmed the partnership in a separate Instagram post. “It’s official, we have collaborate with renowned British designer @christopherkane for his #LFW show earlier today!” the brand wrote on September 19.

The Christopher Kane Crocs come in a variety of marbled and solid colors and are topped with bright stones. Once social media got notice of the innovative shoes, the consensus was pretty split. “Christopher Kane, made crocs so cute lowkey,” @SableGoddess__ wrote in a September 20 tweet. @IAMFASHION disagreed on September 19, tweeting that “Not even Christopher Kane can make crocs cool. Adding geodes to them only furthers the embarrassment.”

According to a September 20 WWD post, consumers will be able to purchase their own rock-studded shoes for more than $150 (while regular Crocs retail for around $35). They’ll be available at “a very select list of stores that Christopher Kane currently distributes to,” Michelle Poole, Crocs’ senior vice president of global product merchandising, told the brand.

But Crocs, seen on the feet of tastemakers like Liv TylerRihanna and even Prince George, were receiving some pretty stylish props well before they hit the runway. Vogue.com listed the clogs a go-to comfortable shoe in a May 2016 post. “This doesn’t have to just be our dirty little secret: Those in fashion are now styling the non-fashion shoe into their everyday looks,” the outlet wrote.
