Priyanka Chopra was one of the lucky few ladies that got to attend her friend Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry on Saturday, May 19 — and as a good friend does, she turned up with serious glam to suit the occasion. Not only was her lilac Vivienne Westwood daysuit and lavender hat the perfect note to strike on such a beautiful day, but her makeup, which was done by celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff, was fresh and colorful, yet still sophisticated and appropriate for a royal affair.

Dubroff explained that the inspiration for the tonal look she created for Chopra was her beautiful lilac day suit as well as lilac and peony flowers — delicate and fresh, yet colorful and bright for the once-in-a-lifetime occasion. And boy, did Chopra glow. First, Dubroff perfected Priyanka’s skin with Chanel Le Teint Ultra Tenue Ultrawear Flawless Foundation (in the shade 91 caramel) with Les Beiges Glow Luminous Colour (in Medium) layered on top for a flawless and glowing complexion. Then, she applied Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rosewood on the apples of the actress’ cheeks to impart a healthy flush.

While the skin was youthful, the eyes was all about soft, yet bright color. Dubroff used the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow in Tisse Cambon, first applying the dark plum shade on the outer corner of Chopra’s eyes. Then, she used the pink shades from the same palette and mixed them with Chanel Ombre Premiere Longwear  Powder Eyeshadow in Rose Synthetique to create a pale pink shine in the inner corners of Chopra’s lids. Plot twist: to subtle tie the color of her eye makeup to her complexion, Dubroff lightly dusted the same blush she used on her cheeks into the center of the Quantico star’s lids and finished with Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir for lashes fit for a queen.

And finally for Priyanka’s perfect pout, Dubroff first applied Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in La Raffinee, then adding Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in La Romanesque at the center of her lips to add dimension.

Et voila! Makeup fit for a the Royal Wedding of the century.
