There's a reason this lady scored a skincare deal!

Jordana Brewster announced on Tuesday, March 24, that she is the latest Pond's ambassador. It's the first time the Furious 7 actress is mugging for a campaign of this size, and she's pumped! But the real reason she wanted to get involved hits exactly at home.

"I remember seeing Pond's Cold Cream on my mom's vanity when I was a little girl and stealing it," Brewster, 34, shared with Us Weekly. "I put it all over my face, pretending I was using a mask, and my mom would get mad at me!"

But the brunette beauty confessed that it was also her mom who got her using the brand's Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream when the fine lines starting to "bug" her. "Being in front of the camera, you're more conscious of [small wrinkles]," Brewster said. "That's why I took my mom's advice and was like, 'You know what? I will try this cream out.' My policy is, do something about it before you actually have to do something about it."

Not that she's totally opposed to the signs of aging! "I think that aging is a badge of honor, and to do it gracefully is a good thing—that's something I see in my mom," said the Dallas actress.

And yet, Brewster still maintains a nearly flawless face. So how does she do it? In addition to the Rujuveness cream and daily sunscreen, the actress credits an extremely healthy lifestyle. "I think eating clean, exercising, and drinking a lot of water is really, really important for your skin," Brewster said. "My mom taught me that, too—and she practices what she preaches!"
