Kaitlyn Bristowe keeps things real.
Bristowe, 39, gave fans a candid look at her eyes after undergoing an upper blepharoplasty — a cosmetic surgery that helps remove excess skin around the eyes— via Instagram on Sunday, December 8. In the snap, she gazed into the camera with her eyelids swollen from the procedure. While resting, Bristowe laid in bed, tied her brunette hair into a messy bun and sported a charcoal crewneck.
In a separate snap, the former Bachelorette showed fans how she looked immediately after surgery while rocking a hair cap and hospital gown.
“Don’t be ridiculous Andrea, everyone wants to look like this,” she hilariously captioned the post, referencing Meryl Streep’s line from The Devil Wears Prada.
Bristowe also shared more photos of her recovering in the hospital, as well as her dogs, who also had to get stitches.
“A lot going on at the Bristowe residence,” she wrote. “All 3 of us have stitches. I got an upper bleph (take it to your group chat if you wanna be negative).” She continued, sharing that her dog Ramen “had a fatty tumor removed,” and asked fans for their prayers that the tumor came back benign. As for her other pup, Pinot had to get a tooth pulled.
This isn’t the first time Bristowe has been open about work she’s had done. Last December, she got candid about getting a lip flip and experimenting with Botox in her forehead.
After a fan asked if she had ever considered getting a lip flip, she shared that was what her latest trip to the med spa was for.
She also shared that since 2017 when she hosted her season of The Bachelorette, she had gotten a “brow lift, brow microblading, got my teeth bonded, some filler in my lips, aging, darker hair and I finally learned how to contour.”
