The Kardashians’ Doctor Says These Injectables Are Hollywood’s Hottest Face-Lift

Khloe, Kourtney, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner
The Kardashians' plastic surgeon tells Us the newest trends in cosmetic dermatology.

In case you're not familiar with Simon Ourian, M.D., he's the celebrity cosmetic dermatologist that Kylie Jenner praised for her natural-looking lip injections. He's also the guy Khloe Kardashian credited for laser-removing her tramp stamp. And Ourian is also the doctor that Kim Zolciak called when she needed emergency Botox before Dancing With the Stars.

There's a reason that Ourian — and his team at Epione Cosmetic Laser Center in Beverly Hills — is on speed dial for many of Hollywood's hottest stars: He makes his celebrity clients his top priority, getting the scrutiny they're under and their insane itineraries. "We understand that our celebrity clients are judged by the way they look in a way that most people can't imagine. Cameras seem to find them 24/7 and they literally can't afford to look anything but their very best all the time," Dr. Ourian tells Us Weekly. "Combine this with their hectic schedules, and celebrities have a real need for emergency sessions. For that reason, I will make myself available at a moment's notice."

Because celebrities aren't the only ones with burning questions related to fillers, lifts, and cellulite, Ourian shared his most sought-after medical advice with Us Weekly

1. Cheek fillers can be just as good as a face-lift.

"The two most popular procedures are dermal filler injections for an instant cheek-lift and the Ultra Neck Lift to address skin laxity," Dr. Ourian, who has 17 years of experience in his field, tells Us. "The cheeks sag and wrinkle as you age. Properly placed dermal filler injections can correct age-related volume loss and provide contour and lift… [And the Ultra Neck Lift uses] a radio frequency and ultrasound treatment protocol [on the neck] to tighten the skin and promote the growth of new collagen."

2. There are different types of fillers, for inquiring minds.

Both long-lasting and semi-permanent dermal fillers exist, Ourian says, telling Us that the latter option is better for clients who might not be certain about their long-term goals. Sculptra and Radiesse are permanent (and rarely used by Dr. Ourian), while Voluma, Juvederm (the kind Jenner swears by for her perfect pout), and Restylane need to be re-injected every so often if you want to keep them up.

3. Don't ask to look like anyone else.

"From a practical standpoint, this can't be done," Ourian says. "It violates everything that we work to accomplish. We want our patients to look natural, to be a younger, fresher version of themselves, not a caricature of someone else. Given this, the likelihood is low that this patient will be happy with their results."
