Kylie Jenner may be the Queen of the Plump Pout, but as it turns out, her older sis Kim Kardashian — and her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic — have a few slick tricks to creating full lips!
In a video shared via KimKardashianWest.com, Dedivanovic breaks down just how he creates the reality star's preferred nude lip. And while it may already be amped up from pregnancy, the makeup genius still has the perfect tips for creating a plumper pout using just makeup.
Line Your Lips From the Outer Corners In
Instead of lining the usual way — from the Cupid's bow out — Dedivanovic recommends working from the outer corners to the middle. "This is an easier technique when lining the lips, because you can do the exact same thing on the other side and meet in the middle," he says.
Restrain Yourself
The makeup artist, who also works with Chrissy Teigen and Ashley Tisdale, suggests only over-lining the top curves of the upper lip and right at the center of the bottom lip, "so you don't go too overboard." Dedivanovic even supports lining the entire lip if you want to try the fall beauty trend of matte makeup.
And One Last Thing…
Dedivanovic's best tip to an instantly fuller kisser? "If you want to get a more pouty lip…put a little bit of highlighter right on the Cupid's bow," he says. "That's going to really lift up and make the lips look pouty."
