Malia Obama is showing off her flair for style! The eldest Obama daughter stunned in a summery outfit that was cute and affordable during a trip to Madrid on Friday, July 1.
Obama, 17, looked trendy in a black cold-shoulder top paired with a floral midiskirt from Asos. The $46 bottom was flanked with two front splits and covered with red, yellow, blue and white blooms. She styled her separates with black block-heel sandals and a simple black choker.
The recent high school graduate, who’s spending the summer in Madrid for an internship at the U.S. embassy before heading to Harvard University in 2017, has had a stylish week in Spain. She touched down in the European country along with mom Michelle Obama on Wednesday, June 29.
The trio visited Torrejón Air Base on Wednesday, June 29, and the 17-year-old was clad in a $78 Nasty Gal After Party Vintage Sutton Wrap Dress. The green crepe number was covered in vertical white stripes and finished with puff sleeves. She opted for block-heel sandals again, this time in brown leather with tan heels.
The Spanish detour was only one part of the Obama girls’ three-nation tour. The first lady took her daughters to Liberia and Morocco to promote Let Girls Learn, a White House initiative that sends girls in impoverished communities to school.
Michelle, Malia and Sasha Obama flew into Morocco on Monday, June 28, and attended an iftar, a meal eaten during Ramadan after sunset. The first lady, 52, stunned in an embellished black-and-white paisley Altuzarra shirtdress and pearl earrings. Her girls also wore paisley dresses in different colors.
