It was a besties’ night out on Thursday, Oct. 2, for Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough! The longtime friends stepped out to attend the Beverly Hills launch of Claiborne Swanson Frank’s Young Hollywood portrait book, hosted by Michael Kors, and each lady lit up the red carpet in her own unique way.
Dobrev, 25, flaunted her fierce physique in a peekaboo lace Michael Kors dress, a look she paired with strappy nude heels to enhance the semi-sheer effect. The Vampire Diaries actress styled her long, ombre waves in loose curls for an effortless look.
While Dobrev’s frock was flirty and feminine, Hough, 26, opted for a bolder, boy-inspired ensemble: The Dancing With the Stars judge sported a structured pantsuit and a clutch, both by Michael Kors and cut from the same printed burgundy fabric. A jewel-encrusted floral design embellished one lapel, and black heels completed the look.
Before the ladies locked arms at the event, Dobrev celebrated TVD’s sixth season premiere, which also debuted on Oct. 2, with a cute Instagram shot and a thank you to her devoted fans. “#TVD tonight @ 8pm! Season 6 premiere! Holy shieza. 6 years..Thanks for sticking w us…despite the wrinkles over the years!” she joked.
