Former Trading Spaces host Paige Davis rocked her Totally ‘90s House guest appearance in a floral frock that didn’t break the bank.
“So many of you are writing to me about the dress I wore on #Totally90sHouse,” Davis, 56, began a Friday, October 2, Instagram post, sharing a screenshot from her onscreen appearance. “Got it at Housing Works, y’all! $25 bucks! That’s what I’m talkin’ about!”
Housing Works is a nonprofit thrift shop based in New York City, where Davis is based with her husband, Patrick Page.
“Star power!👏👏👏,” Page, 64, wrote in the comments section of his wife’s upload.
Davis had joined forces with designer Jonathan Adler on the Wednesday, September 30, finale of HGTV’s Totally ‘90s House. While providing feedback on the celebrities’ renovated properties, Davis sported a butter yellow sundress with multicolored floral prints, cinched with a hot pink ribbon belt that matched rose-colored straps.
On Totally ‘90s House, two teams of former child stars were given a series of nostalgic-themed renovation challenges. In the end, Team Mauve — Jodie Sweetin, Brian Austin Green and Beverley Mitchell — won more than $20,000 for Habitat for Humanity.
“I think the greatest thing about our team is that we complement each other very well. We work very well together,” Mitchell, 45, exclusively told Us in August of her teammates. “And we are not nearly as strong if it’s not the three of us. It takes all three of us to make us such an exceptional team.”
The 7th Heaven alum continued, “I think that that is the key component — and we’re very well aware of that. I can’t do this by myself, so I need them.”
The experience also gave Green, 53, the inspiration to kickstart renovation projects at his own house.
“I just need a plumber and I need some people that are actually really good at building things aside from me. I fake it really well,” he quipped to Us. “I’m one of those guys. I have an impressive tool collection.”
