You may now kiss the bride! Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra wed in a series of over-the-top ceremonies at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India, over the weekend, and we know exactly what lipstick shade the bride was wearing when the couple sealed the deal in their Christian ceremony on Saturday, December 1. Makeup artist Yumi Mori used Marc Jacobs Beauty (including two brand new complexion perfectors that aren’t launching until summer 2019!) to create a blushing bride look on Chopra.
Keeping the focus on Chopra’s #flawless skin and perfect pout, the pro used the velvety Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Boy Gorgeous (a rich berry) for that kissable wine-stained lip.
Mori shared that she dreamed up a “soft and natural” makeup look for the Quantico actress to complement the intricately embroidered custom Ralph Lauren gown and dramatic 75-foot tulle veil she wore for the occasion.
To create an airbrushed effect on the skin that still allowed her natural beauty to show through, Mori used the forthcoming Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder all over the face and treated any imperfections with the Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick.
She then added a bit of warmth to the cheeks with the new Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder in Scarlet, which played nicely off the red-tinged lip. For those of Us not #blessed with Chopra’s access, the powders and stick will be launching in May 2019.
Finishing off the timeless look, Mori applied the coral On The Dance Floor shade from the Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Fantascene across the eye lids, while a few coats of the brand’s Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara provided a flirty fringe that stood up to the tears of joy that surely flowed during the emotional ceremony.
