Rob Kardashian

Well, this socks. Only one day before welcoming Dream Kardashian into the world, Rob Kardashian came under fire for footies from his Arthur George sock line.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 29, shared big news for his brand in a set of November 9 tweets. “@arthurgeorge87 kids and baby socks, coming 2017!! You know our baby girl is going to be rocking these!!” he captioned a post of a youngster rocking a blue pair that read “Thug Life” on the bottom. Kardashian followed up with another post that included a tiny tot clad in a “The Great Bambino” tee, ripped jeans and “Little Homie” socks.

While some of his 7.5 million followers were amused at the cheeky accessories, others took serious offense at Kardashian’s printed message. “Thug life???😳 you are no thug!” @sandraa_wilsonn commented on the respective Instagram upload. “And why would anyone dress their child in a pair of socks that says something like that??? I mean why would you want to teach your child it’s ok to be a thug? Seriously what is wrong with you?!”

@yourfaveisfake agreed. “This is disgusting. You don’t know what struggle is, and you are appropriating a culture you will never be a part of,” the user wrote. “You should quit with this anti-black sentiment, things aren’t looking good for you since you called that man the N-word.”

And others chose to defend the legacy of the late rapper Tupac Shakur, who had “Thug Life” tatted across his stomach. “I hope the Tupac Estate sue you, ’cause u don’t have the rights to Thug Life,” @i.am_negus retorted.

But for the most part, Kardashian’s fans gushed about the socks, laughing off the haters and congratulating the first-time dad on his child with Blac Chyna. “Y’all crazyyyyyyyy. Stay hating,” @ashleyakiko commented. “Rob doesn’t give a FUCK bout what y’all say. He’s successful. Y’all mad that he’s out here making 10x more money then all y’all. They cute rob ☺️.”
