She’s got that sparkle! Sarah Jessica Parker went casual up top and glittery on bottom for a New York City morning at the HBO studios on Friday, September 16.
The Divorce actress, 51, wore a maroon and white empire waist gingham shirt with quarter-length sleeves on top of a black and white pair of track pants. Her accessories — a few silver bracelets, simple earrings and a black leather handbag studded with silver grommets — were minimal as she really brought on the bling with her footwear. The mom of twins Marion and Tabitha, 7, and son James, 13, with Matthew Broderick wore a pair of silver Tartt Sparkly Mary Jane Pumps from her own shoe line, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker ($385, neimanmarcus.com).
Parker, who played Carrie Bradshaw for six seasons of Sex and the City, is known for her quirky style that’s often compared to her notable character’s. But the actress insists that there are more differences than fans realize. "People probably don't realize that Carrie Bradshaw was radically different from who I was, who I continue to be," she told WSJ Magazine in January. "I think that sometimes because we look alike and live in the same city and haunt the same neighborhoods, that it was sort of like I was playing in the sandbox, when in truth it took real work every day to be her, to understand her, to not judge her."
