Zoë Kravitz wants to keep your eyes on the fashion — and not the fingers – at the 2026 Met Gala.
The actress, 37, stepped out at the iconic Monday, May 4, event at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, in a outfit keeping with the evening’s “Costume Art” theme.
Kravitz wore a long-sleeve v-neck Saint Laurent dress with some peek-a-boo lace that would catch the eye of any fashion lover. As for showcasing her new engagement ring from Harry Styles, Kravitz kept fans guessing as she wore black gloves and posed with her hands sometimes in her pockets.
Kravitz attended fashion’s biggest night in her role as a 2026 host committee cochair alongside Anthony Vaccarello. For nearly two decades, she has established herself as a Met Gala darling, making 10 show-stopping appearances in looks by Oscar de la Renta, Saint Laurent and the like since her 2008 debut. She returns this year after most recently attending in 2021.
Styles, for his part, has only made one past Met Gala appearance when he cochaired the event in 2019.
Kravitz’s big night out comes after multiple outlets reported in April that the actress and Styles — who were first linked in August 2025 — are engaged.
Earlier that month, Kravitz sparked speculation she was headed for the wedding aisle when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on that finger on her left hand. In photos published by The Sun, she and Styles engaged in some serious PDA as they strolled around London, her new accessory stealing the spotlight.
“Zoë’s engagement ring appears to feature an elongated cushion-cut diamond, weighing around five to six carats, set in yellow gold with a smooth bezel-style setting,” Lorel Diamonds jeweler Laura Taylor told Us Weekly in April. “It appears to be very similar in size to the ring she previously wore from [ex-fiancé] Channing Tatum, but with a slightly softer and less elongated shape.”
Taylor added, “As for the ring’s value, I would estimate it to be worth up to $600,000, depending on the exact carat weight, color and clarity of the diamond, and whether it is a custom piece.”
Despite keeping their romance private, sources have offered Us insight into Styles and Kravitz’s relationship.
“They are very similar and are free-spirited people, so they hit it off and have a lot of chemistry,” an insider exclusively told Us in August 2025, noting that the two “had met before and had kept in touch.”
By that December, a source revealed that Kravitz and Styles were “quite serious about each other.”
According to the insider, she was “operating differently” than in her past relationships by maintaining “a lot of independence,” and he loved “having her there with him” as he traveled and worked on his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
The relationship also has the approval of Zoë’s famous father, Lenny Kravitz.
“He thinks they’re a great match,” the source said. “Lenny says they really make each other happy and have an easy-going relationship, like best friends who are dating.”
