Eva Mendes isn’t the only one who can keep a pregnancy under wraps for months! On Wednesday, July 23, Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that Zoe Saldana is expecting her first child with husband Marco Perego.
“Zoe is about three months pregnant,” a source told Us. “But she will only announce the news when she’s ready.”
Although Mendes hid her bump for months with the help of handbags and small prints, Saldana, 36, worked the promotional circuit for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy—choosing a mix of comfortable and fitted styles without a muumuu in sight.
At the premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy on July 21 in NYC, the star wore a sheer blouse and metallic skirt by Louis Vuitton. The eye-catching T-shaped harness belt all but announced her pregnancy for her.
Earlier in the day, the Rosemary’s Baby star took a cue from fellow moms-to-be Kourtney Kardashian and Scarlett Johansson, and covered up in a blazer while heading to Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Saldana seemed to flaunt her burgeoning bump in a Monique Lhuillier floral lace top tucked into a matching skirt at the Guardians of the Galaxy press day in Burbank, Calif., on July 19.
At a press conference for Guardians of the Galaxy in Singapore on July 10, Saldana depended on her midi dress’ distracting pattern and high waistline to disguise her curves.
Saldana opted for workout wear, including a fitted black tank, while making a grocery run in L.A. on July 6.
What’s under those overalls? Saldana wore a Tory Burch T-shirt and black Hudson Jeans overalls, in an attempt to hide her midsection, while in L.A. on June 29.
