The ladies weren’t the only ones styling on the 2019 Grammy Awards red carpet at the Staples Center on Sunday, February 10. The handsomest men in the industry turned out for music’s biggest night in sharp suits, tailored tuxedos and dapper duds that can only be described as hot, hot, hot!
With a reputation for being one of the wildest red carpets of the awards season circuit, guys and gals alike proved they weren’t afraid to take a sartorial risks. Post Malone, for example, was thinking pink in his celestial-inspired pastel trousers and matching jacket, and Leon Bridges was equally fashion-forward in his bespoke Bode ensemble. He told reporters on the red carpet that the embroidery paid homage to his Texas roots.
Even the dudes who opted for more classic looks did so with a twist. Pusha T upgraded his black Thome Brown suit with a bit of sparkle, while the gentlemen of the Backstreet Boys showed off their individual style in shades of grey. Before hitting the stage with Miley Cyrus for an emotional performance of his hit “Isn’t In My Blood,” Shawn Mendes solidified his heartthrob status in a cobalt Paul Smith two-piece.
And then there were the guys who (wisely!) followed their date’s lead. Mark Ronson, who was nominated for multiple Grammys with Lady Gaga for their smash hit “Shallow,” was color blocked in a white and black double-breasted Celine number, which is the same designer Mother Monster wore to the show. Swizz Beatz was on hand to support his wife Alicia Keys, who slayed as emcee, in a red-accented Tommy Hilfiger suit that perfectly complemented his better half’s scarlet Armani Prive gown.
