Bruuuuce! The patriarch of America's most famous reality TV clan, Bruce Jenner, continued his slow and steady makeover on Friday, Aug. 1, when he stepped out in Calabasas, Calif., rocking a mean mullet.
The former Olympian, 64, was photographed rocking frizzy, burnt carrot colored, shoulder-length tresses while grabbing coffee at a local Starbucks. Dressed in a striped polo shirt and khaki pants, Jenner grinned as his creased hair flowed in the wind, exposing his damaged ends—a result of overcoloring.
As seen on the June 15 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Bruce was less than pleased when his wife, Kris, walked in on him getting highlights. The famed triathlete had an appointment with celebrity hairstylist Tracy Cunningham at stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian's home, when Kris suddenly walked in and berated him for looking like a "baked potato" after his hair transformation was revealed.
"We're not worried about Kris," Bruce said at one point during his hair appointment. "We're worried about me."
Bruce opened up to Us Weekly last November, about the debate over his hair and transforming appearance. The revered athlete, who had turned 64 several weeks before, gushed to Us: "I turned 64 two weeks ago and I still have hair to grow… I'm celebrating!"
While dad was celebrating, the rest of his family was not. "[My ponytail] is driving them all crazy! It’s absolutely wonderful," Jenner told Us of Kris and their two teenage daughters, Kendall and Kylie.
Unlike his half-siblings, Brandon Jenner told Us that he was supporting his dad's new 'do. "I want him to be able to grow his hair and do whatever he wants to do," Brody Jenner's big brother explained to Us. "Full support."
