A newly empowered Demi Lovato is making over her looks, one major beauty change at a time.

The "Skyscraper" singer showed off a new, bright red hair color in a Twitpic she tweeted Sunday.

"Just woke up from a nap. Can't believe I fell asleep before tweeting this. ;)," Lovato posted.

A source told Us Weekly that the star had a booked an appointment on Saturday to go "super red" at Los Angeles' Nine Zero One Salon -- the same celeb hot spot where Selena Gomez got her long extensions and Julianne Hough lopped off her locks.

Back in September, Lovato debuted a tiny diamond nose piercing in her left nostril, but making bold beauty moves isn't the only thing that the starlet has been experimenting with.

Just last week, Lovato and her former fling, That 70s Show's Wilmer Valderrama, were spotted making out in front his L.A. home, where the 19-year-old locked lips with the 31-year-old during a warm embrace.

After Lovato checked out of a treatment facility in late January, sources told Us she reunited with Valderrama (whom she was attached to since May 2010) on several occasions.

Demi Lovato actually looks gorgeous with red hair she reminds me of a very young Lynn Redgrave in that pic. and thats coming from somebody that adores Ms Redgraves work and usually hates red heads
