Ali Landry: How I Slimmed Down, Post-Baby, in Two Months

After gaining 45 pounds with her second child, son Marcelo, now 5 months, Ali Landry tells Us Weekly she was anxious to get her body back for work on the drama Little Boy -- just 14 days post-delivery.
"It was pressure," admits the 5-foot-8 mom, 38, wed to producer Alejandro Monteverde.

So the former Doritos Girl turned to Chef's Diet meal delivery (chefsdiet.com), featuring a 1,300- to 1,500-calories-a-day meal plan based on the Zone Diet, which prescribes 40 percent calories from carbs, 30 percent protein and 30 percent healthy fats in each meal.

"I don't get it delivered on the weekends," she tells Us. "It has helped me be aware of portion control and to include a balance of of protein, vegetables and complex carbs in my meals."

By following this routine, she dropped two pounds in the first week, and in two months Landry lost 12 pounds! "It was a thrilling moment for me to fit into a size 4 dress at the Oscars," she says.
