Levi -- whose relationship with the Palin family had been strained since he and Bristol called off their first engagement last year -- also vows that he will now be there for his 18-month-old son.

"I've missed out on a lot of his life, and I can't get that back," he tells Us in the video. "Seeing him walk or crawl for the first time, or his first word ... I missed all that. More importantly, I am here now, and I am going to make it right." Says Bristol, "It just feels right to be family."

He realized how much child support and alimony he was going to have to pay and decided it was cheaper to stay with her.
I have heard the rumor more than once from several Alaskans that this is being done so suddenly because they've been fooling around for some time and that Bristol is pregnant again. There is NO WAY Sarah Palin is shocked about this...the totally canned apology from Levi was as complete set-up to lead towards a touching reunion.

I predict a July 31st weddin' date. WHY? Sarah Palin will want to redirect the thunder of the MSM from former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton's wedding on that date... and turn the spotlight onto herself... and, oh, yeah - her youngin' gittin' maried! I give it until one day after the election in 2011. Sarah is behind this, and is now quietly laying the ground work for her anticipated announcement to run for President in Feb. 2011 on Reagan's B-day. Bristol being a never-married single mother was an inconvenient "loose-end" that needed to be tied up to legitimize her "Family-First" position. And the way to get out of paying child support of $18K a month? Marry the mother of the child... until the day after the Nov. 2011 elections...
