Olivia Wilde poked fun of a recent viral red carpet moment that had fans concerned about her appearance..

Wilde, 42, joked about looking like a “dead body” at the San Francisco International Film Festival in April during the Wednesday, June 17, episode of Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

When Cooper, 31, brought up the image, Wilde immediately threw her head back and started laughing. “I’m so happy you’re bringing this up,” she said while clapping.

“Jump scare! Looking like an actual dead body,” she added of her look, which featured smokey brown eyeshadow with black eyeliner, bronzed cheeks and nude lips. “It was absolutely insane.”

She explained that she didn’t expect the photo to go so viral because she was at a “small regional film festival.”

“It’s a tiny little red carpet. We did the thing and then I saw that picture and I was like, ‘That probably won’t go very far. No one’s gonna see this.’ Oop! Suddenly, it was f***ing everywhere,” she said. Wilde then compared the moment to your friends sharing a bad photo of you. “I laughed so hard,” she said.

“We had to laugh!” she added. “People were diagnosing me with Graves’ disease. [Journalist] Megyn Kelly did an entire segment about how much I looked dead.”

Wilde shared that her brother also thought she looked “dead” and did an actual “spit take” when he saw the photo. The actress ended up laughing so hard at his reaction that she shared a video of herself cracking up via Instagram in May.

“Olivia Wilde, do you care to address recent rumors that you’re a resurrected corpse?” her brother, Charles Cockburn, asked her. She replied, “Listen, that is a fisheye lens. And I admit, is that my best angle? Was that my best ever look? No, it’s a startling image.”

She added, “I don’t know why I was so close to the camera. I didn’t have to be. That’s not the truth. I’m not dead!”

“Leave it to your little brother to give you the maximum amount of s***,” she captioned the post.
