Carrie Prejean Is Engaged!

Carrie Prejean is making it official.
The controversial beauty queen -- who has said she lost the Miss USA pageant after declaring she's against same sex marriage -- got engaged to NFL quarterback Kyle Boller over the weekend, E! News reports.

A source tells E! that Boller, who plays for the St. Louis Rams, proposed Saturday in Prejean’s San Diego hometown. Her mom, Francine Coppola, confirmed the news to Access Hollywood Monday, adding that Boller presented Prejean with a 5-carat diamond ring.
Prejean is "very excited," according to Coppola.
The couple -- who have not yet set a date -- celebrated their engagement at a Super Bowl party with pals and their family in San Diego.

Prejean, 22, and Boller, 28, began dating last July -- around the time she was stripped of her Miss California title for reportedly skipping out on appearances.
