Gwyneth Paltrow isn't the only one making headlines for showing a little skin. The actress' husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, also got people talking this week when he exercised shirtless in Primrose Hill, London, on Wednesday, April 24.
Wearing only a pair of black Adidas shorts and sneakers, the 36-year-old musician showed off his surprisingly buff torso as he put in some time with his personal trainer at the park. He wasn't bare-chested for the entire workout, though; when he started the intense sweat session, he had on a white T-shirt.
At one point during a set of upside-down pull-ups, the shirt moved to reveal a set of red circular marks on Martin's lower back. The marks were from a recent "cupping" treatment -- a healthful Asian method of stimulating circulation by attaching glass cups to the skin via heat or suction, leaving temporary spots like the ones seen on the "Hurts Like Heaven" singer's skin. (Paltrow is a known fan of the technique, as is Jennifer Aniston, who recently attended a premiere with cupping marks on her back.)
Meanwhile, back in the States, Martin's wife has been the talk of the town for the risque Antonio Berardi gown she wore to the Iron Man 3 premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on April 24. The dress -- which featured sheer panels on the side, making it impossible for the Oscar-winning star to wear underwear -- was apparently a last-minute decision.
"I kind of had a disaster. I was doing a show and I changed there and...I couldn't wear underwear," the 40-year-old explained on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 26, adding that she was "humiliated" by the bad press. "Let's just say everyone went scrambling for a razor."
