Sean Parker's relationship status: Engaged!
The tech entrepreneur, Napster co-founder and founding president of Facebook, is set to wed, his rep confirmed to Reuters late Monday. Parker proposed to girlfriend Alexandra Lenas, a singer-songerwriter.
Gawker reports that Parker and Lenas are a relatively new item. After he split from longtime love Kate Jurkiewicz in mid-2010, he and Lenas stepped out at Heidi Klum's star-studded Halloween party last October, where the duo wore complementary costumes: He went as 'N Sync-era Justin Timberlake, she as Britney Spears circa 1999.
The Timberlake getup was a knowing choice, of course: The "SexyBack" singer portrayed Parker (as a ruthless, hard-partying figure eventually shut out of Facebook's expansion) to critical acclaim in the Oscar-nominated flick The Social Network.
Parker founded peer-to-peer music file sharing service Napster in 1999 when he was just 19 years old, and soon joined Mark Zuckerberg to help put Facebook on the map. He left the social networking giant in 2005 after a huge falling out with Zuckerberg
These days, he's a managing partner at Founders Fund, a venture capital firm.
