Spicy! Giada De Laurentiis is soaking up the sun in Mexico with her new boyfriend, Shane Farley. The couple were photographed getting some vitamin D on the beach on Friday, January 1.
Clad in a teeny red bikini, the Food Network chef looked happy while strolling on the sand with her beau. At one point, FABLife producer Farley opted to help De Laurentiis, 45, with her sunscreen, spraying the backs of her legs.
De Laurentiis and Farley have been dating since August, when they were first spotted together at Drai’s Nightclub in Las Vegas. According to a source, the foodie is really into Farley.
“She seems very comfortable around him and in love,” an insider previously told Us Weekly.
The relationship comes on the heels of both De Laurentiis’ and Farley’s respective divorces. The TV chef finalized her divorce from her husband of 11 years, Todd Thompson, in September 2015. This past March, Farley filed for divorce from his wife, Jennifer Giamo.
During an interview with Dr. Oz’s The Good Life website, De Laurentiis opened up about her divorce. “We had been together since I was 19; I’m now 45. That’s a lifetime with someone. It was a very difficult time. I don’t have the answers; I’m figuring them out as I go. I’m also afraid, like many other women who go through this, and men, too, for that matter.”
That said, she’s become more self-sufficient.
“I never knew how to hook up a TV; I had alarms going off in the night that I never had to deal with because my ex-husband would handle all that stuff,” she added. “I can do those things now. Every challenge is an opportunity to become stronger and believe in yourself more. That’s what it’s about: believing in yourself.”
