Julia Louis-Dreyfus Feels "Most Beautiful" When She's "Superskinny"

When does Julia Louis-Dreyfus feel most beautiful?

"When I'm superskinny," jokes the New Adventures of Old Christine star in the March issue of Redbook.

"No, but I always feel good after I do Pilates," continues the actress, 49. "I run, hike, do Pilates. I try to change it up."

Another factor contributing to her overall health: her marriage of 20 years to comedian Brad Hall, with whom she has two kids, Henry, 17, and Charles, 12.

"You've got to find the right fellow... Brad and I certainly have similar goals and sensibilities; we're on the same page in terms of how we want to raise our children and what we like to do," she says. "We're always trying new things together... we travel a lot. A couple of years ago, we went river rafting in Chile. It was unbelievably exciting."

Plus, they laugh together. The one thing that makes her giggle: "Um, it would have to be a fart. I'm not an intellectual."

Dreyfus, who starred on Seinfeld from 1990 to 1998, says she's still trying to find a balance between working and raising her kids.

"The working-mom thing is definitely tricky. Guilt is a b*tch," she admits. "It's so useless as an emotion, for me anyway. It clouds things, I'm not saying people shouldn't feel guilty, but for me, it makes certain decision-making more difficult. And I have felt guilty. It's one of the reasons I haven't made a lot of movies. Network television is a full-time job, but it's manageable."
