After a public meltdown (and several rambling laments about his split from Courteney Cox on Howard Stern's radio program), David Arquette, 39, has been largely out of the public eye since entering a substance-abuse treatment center last month.
But fans can catch up with the funnyman, who UsMagazine.com reported stayed away from the booze at a Feb. 10 charity event, on Oprah Winfrey's show next Thursday.
"Oprah's interview with David airs on February 24," Harpo rep. Bridgette Maney tells UsMagazine.com. "It will be the first he's given since his recently completed rehab."
The episode's featured guest was supposed to be Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, who spent 18 months in prison for dog-fighting charges, but on Thursday Winfrey found out Vick, 30, had cancelled.
"He said personal reasons; we're not going to push it." said the daytime talker, adding her staff had already taped scenes for the Vick interview. "We did a field trip with him. We had been shooting with Michael. And the fact that he pulled out and all his people. . .We move on."
