Shayne Lamas: DUI Arrest Was "Traumatic"

Shayne Lamas is having a difficult time moving past her recent DUI arrest.

"It was really traumatic for me," the reality star, 24, told Usmagazine.com at the Wachovia VIP Gift Lounge on Friday in L.A. "Going through that was horrible for me, so I am my biggest punisher, and I have just been dealing with it myself. You just keep yourself up."

Before she was busted, Lamas said she never took drinking and driving seriously (when she was arrested, she claimed to have had one drink).
"Drinking and driving is absolutely absurd, and I did not condone it, but when you are out with friends and you have one drink, you think that you are OK," said Lamas, who is due in court Dec. 9 for the misdemeanor charge.

She told Us she now will "have to judge the situations with more seriousness" to ensure nothing like this happens again.

"Everybody does it, and now you have to think that one drink is one too many," she said. "If are going to bring alcohol up to your lips, don’t drive. End of story."

Wow, just think of how traumatized she would be if she had actually killed somebody whilst driving drunk. Would have ruined her day.........oh well, maybe next time.
