Superdad! Chris Pratt acknowledged this week's Memorial Day holiday by sharing an adorably patriotic video on Wednesday, May 27, of himself with his 2-year-old son Jack.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star, 35, took to Facebook to post the sweet clip, writing, "Meant to post this on #‎MemorialDay but I was in China and my phone wasn't working. I'm proud to be American. I'm blessed to get to travel the world! #‎IPledgeAllegiance."

In the video, Pratt is on a porch with his little boy and faces a hanging American flag. He stands with his hand on his heart and teaches Jack, whose mom is Pratt's wife Anna Faris, the words to the Pledge of Allegiance.

"I pledge allegiance," Pratt began, prompting his tot to repeat his words. The two continue on, going all of the way through the recitation until the last two words of "for all." Little Jack nailed the pledge until the end, needing a second prompt of "for all" before he said the words.

The Parks and Recreation alum shared a shot of his wife of nearly six years and his son on the same porch earlier this month. Pratt and Faris, 38, welcomed their first child together in August 2012 after exchanging vows in 2009. The family put their Hollywood Hills home up for sale in 2013, and seem to have found a haven in the country in the years since.

Pratt recently gushed about his hilarious wife in a Reddit AMA session. Participating in the Q&A in promotion of his upcoming movie Jurassic World, the hunk was asked by a Reddit user about his relationship with Faris.

"Anna and I are meant to be together," he wrote. "Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life."

"She and I grew up 20 minutes away from each other but never met until we met in LA," Pratt continued. "We both got our start in horror spoofs… We both made our careers playing guileless nitwits for laughs. We both have parents that have suffered with MS. The similarities go on and on…  Anna is a great wife. Very patient and understanding. Very supportive. So kind and genuine always. And she gave me a wonderful son and family of in-laws that I truly love."
