Jennifer Lopez: My Abs Are "Pretty Flat for Having Twins"

Jennifer Lopez has a reason to brag.
"My abs are pretty flat for having twins!" Lopez -- who welcomed Max and Emme in February 2008 -- told UsMagazine.com at a Scott Barnes book launch fete in NYC Wednesday.

What's her secret?
"Nothing crazy," swore the singer-actress, 40. "It's about being consistent. That's it."
Although she admits she doesn't have time to hit the gym every day, she tells Us, "You have to put the work in."

Lopez mixes up her routine, hitting the StairMaster, boxing, biking and lots of lunges "to keep those thigh muscles firm," she told the New York Post last week.
Not that she wants to get too slim.

"It's true I could serve coffee using my rear as a ledge, but I'm proud of my butt," she said. "A dress shouldn't look like a coat hanger. Skinny girls miss out.
As for her beauty routine, Lopez says her makeup artist, Scott Barnes, has tought her tricks to "contouring and shading" that she uses every day.
And the secret to her complexion perfection?
"I love Dr. Hauschka's Rose Day Cream!" she tells Us.

People...people...if you had the money she has it would actually be sad if she looked bad. I'm not impressed with women that have personal trainers, nutritionists, nannies, make-up artists, etc., etc., etc. You need to be impressed with those women that work 9-5, go home to take care of her husband and kids and still makes time for healthy eating and exercising on their own. Those you can actually pay a compliment and it would be well deserved.

Yeah, she is tootin' her own horn, which is not attractive because self praise stinks -- now, that's if she actually said it and wasnâ??t made up by US Magazine. Girlfriend has it like that though -- you know, a team of support people to help her in her day-to-day routine (e.g., chef, trainer, personal assistant, nanny, and if Iâ??m missing a staff member here, sheâ??s got that too, you name it, etc.), thus, it enables her to get her workouts in, meals cooked for her, wardrobe selected for her and goodness knows what else. Unfortunately, for some of us in the real world, we have regular jobs to go to and sometimes families to raise, meals to cook, clothes to wash and iron, housecleaning to tend to â?? and this occurs AFTER a long hard day of work, so by the time MY HEAD hits the pillow, I'M OUT LIKE A SERIOUS LIGHT, â??cause I gotta get up and do it all over again the next day. Itâ??s no joke, thatâ??s my exercise!! If she doesnâ??t have to lift a finger to do any of the â??dirty workâ?? except to focus on getting her workouts in and looking good, heck, anyone can look that good, or even better, if they had all that going on and were able to have that consistency in their life. I mean, come on people, let's keep it real, Jennifer doesn't do it ALL BY HERSELF, she has help. But whether itâ??s Lipo or some other surgical procedure sheâ??s had done since giving birth to her twins, or if itâ??s the exercise and eating properly by itself, she does look good!!
