That's a Mother's Day they'll never forget! Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard spent the morning of Sunday, May 10, introducing their new son Israel to their local church congregation at his dedication service.

The proud parents shared a snap of the event via Instagram, showing the new family of three taking center stage at the dedication (in the Baptist faith, a dedication usually comes before a baptism, which typically occurs when a child is old enough to make that decision for themselves).

"At Israel's dedication this morning we were challenged to raise him to love Jesus," mom Duggar wrote in the caption which accompanied the snap. "What a special Mother's Day! “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." 3 John 1:4 #babydedication #MothersDay," she added.

Later in the day, Duggar, 23, and Dillard, 26, took a moment to pay tribute to their own moms via notes on their blog.

"So grateful to God for you as my mother and you're just a godly example of what a mother should be like and I hope to be like you," Duggar said in a video message to her mom Michelle Duggar, which she recorded with a squirming baby Israel in her arms.

Derick Dillard shared a snap of his mom Cathy Dillard holding baby Israel and reflected on the fact that he and his siblings feared she might not make it to Mother's Day this year, after battling Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

"This year my mom is celebrating not only Mother’s Day, but also her first Mother’s Day as a grandmother,” a happy and relieved Dillard wrote. “My mom’s story of battle and triumph over cancer is nothing short of a miracle, performed by the one true God, our Lord Jesus Christ, through many medical personnel to whom I am eternally grateful," the new dad added.
