Jon Brings Bouquet of Roses To Arbitration Hearing With Kate

An offer of roses from their husband might make things better with some women, but not Kate Gosselin.
The controversial TV mom was given a bouquet of roses from her ex, Jon, during their Saturday arbitration hearing at a Pennsylvania courthouse, but the 32-year-old dad of eight's tactics didn't work -- she left without the peace offering.

The embattled reality TV couple met face-to-face for what was scheduled to be a two-day arbitration hearing with everything from custody of their twins and sextuplets and the division of assets reportedly discussed. The pair agreed to put everything on the table in five-and-a-half hours Saturday, rather than continue the meeting on Monday.

An arbitrator is expected to rule within 30 days, with the couple's divorce potentially being finalized before the end of the year.

The family's TLC reality show, Jon and Kate Plus 8, will conclude its two-year run on Monday.
During the final hour, the estranged parents of twins Cara and Mady, 9, and sextuplets Collin, Leah, Hannah, Alexis, Joel and Aaden, 5, will venture on separate outings with their kids.
Though it was reported that Kate, 34, would continue the program without Jon -- whose last appearance was Nov. 2 -- a spokeswoman for the network confirmed Kate Plus 8, which would have focued on her life as a single mom, is not in production.

"We are focusing on the launch of Kate's new series in early spring," network spokeswoman Laurie Goldberg said in a statement Thursday.

116Why isn't the State child protective services involved in this arbitration or a guardian ad litem for the kids assigned by the courts? I can't help but think the two parents are stealing all the kids money that they made from that show. In 10 or 12 years they will do one of those sad follow-up shows and those 8 kids will be talking about the lost trust and college funds that their parents looted.

Please! Jon is trying to improve his public image! I mean they trade off kids once a week, you think he could do this stuff in private instead of putting on a show for the paps! I would NOT accept roses from a creep who's been running around with collage girls and selling out to any magazine that will pay for a nasty story.

omg - he's cheated on her, said he despised her, stolen from a bank account- and now a bouquet of roses is supposed to make her forgive and forget. Please,people. Put yourself in her shoes. He's making nice for the tabloids because he's been such a bad boy and gotten so much bad press. And, of course, it wouldn't hurt to soften her up a bit for the arbitration. I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth and hopefully neither does Kate. I hope she told him where he could stick his flowers.

As I read some of these blogs, I am convienced that many of them are written by "Aunt Jodi"..She has such sour grapes. Watch out Jodi before your hubby begins to run with a different crowd. As for Kate's brother, you would think that he would be there for her to help her and see that all is well with the children. But no, you have to stand behind your crazy wife, who herself claims to be to sweet, just too sweet. No one is that sweet..I wish Kate the best,I know that raising children alone is hard, and you have many quiet moments by yourself.. It will get better..
Face it the flowers were almost dead and what a heel he was to bring them to court in the first place. More bad advice for his followers I guess. Just a demise to put more blame on Kate. Jon you are such a loserrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I can honestly say that I don't think I would accept the flowers either. Maybe if they were sent to the house, privately, with a note card to me and my children but not at the arbitration because then it seems to me it would be more for the media instead of me. I used to think Kate was hard on Jon but with time I realized that I would probably be yelling at him too for his complete lack of common sense and selfishness. I'm now on team Kate all the way - at least she admit her faults, right from the beginning. Jon had to seek help from 8,000 people before finally realizing he f'd up. If nothing else, thanks to the Rabbi for showing him the light because hopefully the change will help the relationship between Jon and the kids because at the end of the day they are the ones who matter.

kate simply does not even have a concept of being polite and gracious. She always feels a need to belittle and humilate people and once aagin she has demonstrated this. She is nasty to her core, but just wait-what goes around comes around and someday here selfishness and belligerance will catch up to her.
