Abbie Cornish, Ryan Phillippe Split

Aussie actress Abbie Cornish and Ryan Phillippe have split, her rep confirms to UsMagazine.com.
On Sunday, Cornish, 27, was spotted moving out of the Los Angeles home she shared with Phillippe, 35.
"He called her to end the relationship," a source tells Us. "They had grown apart. She flew into town yesterday to move out, as he asked her to so."
Cornish and Phillippe, who met on the set of the war drama Stop-Loss, began dating in 2006 - around the same time he and Reese Witherspoon announced they were separating after seven years of marriage. (Phillippe has two children with Witherspoon, daughter Ava, 10, and son Deacon, 6.)

Last fall, Cornish told W magazine that being linked to the collapse of Phillippe's marriage was "a really difficult time for me. In a normal, successful career, someone usually learns these things bit by bit. For me, it was like night and day. I woke up one day and there was this whole new thing I had to process and deal with."

Asked if she'll wed Phillippe one day, she said, "I don't know [if we have plans in that direction]."

@tina - Where does it say he cheated on her?? It just said that they grew apart.And Abbey didn't breatk up a marriage. If the marriage is strong, it stays together. No man or woman has that kind of power, as much as others like to think so.

Its funny how everyone makes Ryan the bad guy but nobody mentions how Reese starting dating one of her husband's friends (Jake). I guess when you're America's Sweetheart that's ok. I'm not personally on either side and only they know what happened between them. I think Ryan just couldn't handle being married to a more successful actor so he bailed. I don't know where all this cheating talk comes from because I saw no evidence of that. They got divorced adn starting dating other people. So what? I love how people make judgements like they were sleeping in between Ryan and Reese. They're divorce was between them and I don't feel nobody else caused it.

I agree with angels comment. Is she looking for sympathy? What a joke. You chose to sleep with a married man, broke up the marriage and you are whining that it was a "difficult time" for you? She has done some good work and probably has been too young to know what is good for her. She is a bit athletic for hollywood (but that is nice to see) He must be a real mess. It is a shame he couldn't pull it together for their kids. Reese is probably super type A but she is beautiful, an excellent role model of a working mom, and she loves those kids. With all that money and nannies for date night, you'd think he could have tried harder to be a better husband and father. This girl did herself no favors being associated as a home wrecker so maybe it will help her rep to be away from him.
Sounds like he wouldn't commit and marry so she finally decided to split.
