On the season finale of The Bachelorette in July 2014, Dorfman bid farewell to Viall before he could get down on one knee, and said yes to former professional baseball player Murray. As Bachelor fans witnessed, the angry runner-up confronted Dorfman on After The Final Rose, saying, “If you weren’t in love with me … I’m just not sure why you made love with me.”

Dorfman’s happily ever after wasn’t exactly that — she and Murray called off their engagement in January 2015 after nine months of dating.

According to Dorfman’s book, It’s Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After, which she released in May 2016, both of these Bachelorette relationships were filled with tears, turmoil and a whole lot of drama. Dorfman’s book was a hot topic of conversation throughout the Monday, August 8, episode of Bachelor in Paradise

Us Weekly Video takes a look back at Dorfman’s book to uncover her six most shocking revelations about Viall and Murray. The 29-year-old author chronicled the demise of her relationship with her former fiancé, writing that Murray, 31, “had an uncanny way of manipulating situations and conversations to make me feel like the worst person in the world.” According to Dorfman, Murray called her “a bitch or a whore,” and she described it as “the most volatile and f–ked up relationship of my life.”

Dorfman also revealed the reason why Viall, 35, decided to publicly reveal, during After the Final Rose, that they were intimate during their Fantasy Suite date.

“He [Viall] was angry that he had tried to reach out to me so many times before,” she wrote. “And he felt hurt that I refused to see him.”
