Mr. and Mrs. Shulman need to do some shopping!
On Wednesday, Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman stepped out for the first time since tying the knot in Big Sur, Calif. over the weekend — picking up some vintage clothes at the Wasteland boutique on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
Flashing her brand-new wedding band, the Dark Knight Rises actress, 29, was dressed down in a red-and-white striped tank top, red denim and slip-on sneakers and kept a low profile in sunglasses. Driving off with his new bride, her jewelry designer hubby Shulman, 31, was similarly hipster-comfy in a grey t-shirt, jeans and shades.
Together for nearly four years, the couple exchanged vows atop a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean as 150 guests looked on; Hathaway donned an off-the-shoulder silk tulle gown with embroidered satin flowers and pink-shaded train, which was custom-made by Hathaway’s close designer friend Valentino Garavani. “Anne is like a daughter to him,” a source close to Valentino, 81, told Us Weekly. (The Oscar nominee topped off the dramatic look with a 1920s-style headband.) “It was a personal project.”
And his work more than paid off. “Annie looked beyond gorgeous!” one guest gushes.
More importantly, she and Shulman “seemed incredibly happy” at the wedding, another onlooker says. “So in love!”
