Will Chris Harrison officiate the wedding? Bachelor alum Ashley Salter was the guest of honor at a bridal shower on Sunday, August 21. The reality star posted photos from the special day on Instagram.
“So glad you came @stephbarger love you!” Salter, 26, captioned one pic with a guest. In a second group shot, she added: “Great day thanks to all of you! Xx #saltertothealtar #austingotthefinalrose.”
The bride-to-be wore a spaghetti-strap white dress for the occasion and held a colorful bouquet of ribbons, presumably from her gifts. The intimate gathering included bridal plastic cups, a “Mr. and Mrs.” wood sign and a pink, gold and black ribbon banner that draped across a brick fireplace.
Us Weekly confirmed last September that Salter got engaged to her college sweetheart, Austin Brannen. The two, who both attended Auburn University, reconnected after Salter returned to Georgia filming season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise.
Us exclusively revealed in February that the future spouses were expecting their first child together. Two months later, in April, they welcomed baby boy Brooks. “Long stormy night brings a beautiful angel this morning,” Salter captioned an Instagram pic of the family of three at the time. Their son weighed in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces.
Earlier this month, Salter shared a cute Instagram photo of Brannen and Brooks. “My favorite boys @agbrannen #brooksbrannen,” she wrote.
This will be the first marriage for Salter. She previously vied for Chris Soules‘ heart during season 19 of The Bachelor and romanced BIP costars Nick Peterson and Dan Cox.
