Prepare the congratulatory basket of onions! The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise alum Ashley Salter is expecting her first child with fiancé Austin Brannen, a source confirms exclusively to Us Weekly.
"Ashley is far along — she’s showing," the source tells Us.
Salter, 25 — who is engaged to her college sweetheart — attended Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert's wedding last month, which was taped for The Bachelor's 20th anniversary special, set to air on Valentine's Day.
Salter was one of several Bachelor Nation moms-to-be who will be featured on the special, including Ali Fedotowsky and Erica Rose. Fedotwosky exclusively confirmed to Us last month that she and fiancé Kevin Manno are expecting their first child, while Rose exclusively confirmed her joyous news to Us on Monday, February 1.
Salter, a Brooklyn-based hair stylist originally from Atlanta, announced her engagement in September with a series of Instagram posts, including one photo that showed her wearing her ring while holding a bouquet of red roses. "12 is better than 1 #roses," she captioned the shot, referring to the popular ABC dating series.
Salter competed for Chris Soules' love on The Bachelor season 19, where she stood out with her sometimes-baffling comments about pomegranates that look like onions, and a group-date location that she said reminded her of "Mesa Verde." After getting let go in week 4, she went on to date Nick Peterson and Dan Cox on Bachelor in Paradise season 2.
