Looks like a Bravo brawl is brewing. Real Housewives of New York City's Bethenny Frankel ripped Botched's resident plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow via Twitter on Tuesday, April 14, after he called out her skinny body on Watch What Happens Live.
Dubrow (husband to Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow), and his partner Dr. Paul Nassif were asked which Housewife they would bring onto Botched. While Nassif (whose ex is former Beverly Hills Housewife Adrienne Maloof) smelled trouble, his partner decided to answer the question instead.
"I would put on Bethenny and just feed her a little bit," he said. "She looks amazingly pretty natural, but she's a little skinny girl for me."
He then reconsidered his words, calling her "beautiful," but by then it was too late. Frankel, 44, caught wind of his comments.
"Who is dr dubrow & what happened?" she tweeted shortly after the episode aired. "Some dumbs— md talk abt what he doesn't know? Or @andy s— stir pretending it was innocent? Or both?"
The Skinnygirl founder continued: "So he's a 'rich, busy & sucessful' md using his wife's reality show to comment on me bc he's bored? Irrelevant? fame hungry? Needs $?" (The original Real Housewife of NYC, however, has been anything but irrelevant since the return to the show. According to a Bravo release sent to Us Weekly on Monday, April 13, the network earned its best Tuesday of the year with the Season 7 premiere of RHONY. The episode also experienced a double-digit growth compared to the previous season's premiere.)
She continued her tirade against Dubrow on Tuesday by teasing her upcoming appearance on WWHL. "A) i did eat a burger (albeit a fried veg one) b) @andy i love c) people r s— stirring d) do u think i care? #itsallfodder #wwhl tom pm," she wrote. She later joked that she was "drunk all day on @skinnygirl," reminding her Twitter followers to watch Tuesday night's episode. "This was fun," she wrote. "Until tom #wwhl."
While Dr. Dubrow has yet to address his comments via social media, his wife Heather extended an olive branch to Frankel on Tuesday.
