Boston Strong! The Boston Red Sox won the World Series 2013 at Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. on Wednesday, Oct. 30. The team beat the St. Louis Cardinals with a 6-1 victory, making them World Series champions for the third time in ten years. Their last World Series win at their home field was in 1918. The win was especially poignant following the tragic April 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.

Celebrity Boston natives, Red Sox fans and good sports alike took to Twitter Wednesday to share their congratulations. Some diehard fans were at the game to witness the win including Chris Evans, Mike O'Malley and Dane Cook. Others watched the game from home like hometown hero Donnie Wahlberg, who shared himself cheering in a Vine video. And many stars cracked jokes about how Red Sox player's can finally shave their long playoff beards.
