As with most of her social-media messages, the 47-year-old French-Canadian singer then tweeted the same message in French. The service will also be televised on three networks.

Late last week, Dion announced that a memorial service would be held for Angélil at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal, the very place where the couple exchanged vows in an elaborate ceremony back in 1994.

“According to his final wishes, his Funeral will be held at Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal, where 21 years ago, he chose to marry the one who will remain as the great love of his life, the artist for which he had the most respect, the woman who gave him light and happiness until his very last breath,” a Facebook post on Dion’s official page read.

Despite rumors, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer will not be performing at Angélil’s funeral.

The music producer is survived by Dion and their three children — René-Charles, 14, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 5.

On Saturday, January 16, Dion was hit with the devastating news that her older brother Daniel had also passed away after a long battle with various forms of cancer. He was 59.
