David Arquette is apologizing for spilling all about his recent split with wife Courteney Cox on Howard Stern's radio show Tuesday.
"Thank you all for your love and support at this time," he Tweeted Wednesday. "I'm trying figuring out how to be the best person I can be. But it's been a process of trial and error.

"I went on Howard Stern yesterday to provide clarity and honesty about what I'm experiencing but while doing that I shared too much..." he continued. "It's alright for me to be honest about my own feelings but in retrospect some of the information I provided involved others and for that I am sorry and humbled."

Before signing off, he wrote that "life is a process of spiritual evolution. I'm sure Courteney and myself will emerge from this painful time better people for what we've learned."
During his racy chat, Arquette, 39, revealed that he and Cox, 46, stopped being intimate months ago, that he had been intimate with a cocktail waitress and that Cox ordered the separation because she felt like she was his "mother" and not his wife.
Stern, 56, defended Arquette on his show Wednesday. "He was protecting his wife and kid by telling the truth," said Stern.

"He handled himself very well," Stern also said. "He didn't hide away in his house. He went on a legitimate show and spoke his mind and it was refreshingly honest. Anyone who heard it knew he was being honest."
Neither Cox nor Arquette "is holding up great, but they are adjusting to life on their own again," a family source tells the new Us Weekly (on newsstands now).

7I think he was very honest about the whole thing. He placed the blame mostly on himself which is almost unheard of these days. He is a very goofy, childish person and it is very hard to live with someone like that (from experience). I'm just hoping that she isn't the one angry about that interview, I think we all kinda feel for her. Best wishes to their family is this tough time.
I do have to say that for once in the hollywood world truth came out. I can feel for Courtney because I understand how it feels to want the man to grow up and if your not in the mood...your not in the mood. David stated that he is single now..and that ok's the sex. Your still married..and if you are still hoping to get her back..having sex while married isn't the way. Now, if you both agreed that this was ok, then cool. Good Luck on both of your futures no matter what it details.
David has proven that he is not a husband material. Courteney is a typical woman who hopes a good change in a man she loved of which David doesn't grow up as a mature man. wish CC threw him sooner. these are what d kind of guys TLC sung, No Scrub :)
It's sad when you have to grow up at 39!! SMDH.
I agree with Stern (quick, everyone go and buy lotto tickets!); when I read the article yesterday about Arquette's interview, I found it to be refreshingly honest, and actually quite respectful of both Cox, and their family with Coco. That kind of integrity just comes out; you can't hide it.
He was just being honest! He didnt say anything bad or negative about Courtney
That was very good of him to say. Now lets all move on!
